...is an occasion for celebration. Since 1994, we have been successfully orchestrating parties, setting tables, and delighting guests with our delicious cooking and artful presentation. Our love of good food and joy in bringing family and friends together is reflected in our simple yet elegant fare.

Our kitchen and cafe are located in the heart of some of the country's best organic farmland, where we are fortunate to enjoy year round farmers markets and an abundance of artisanally produced foods. Bringing these seasonal culinary pleasures to your table is our inspiration and we do it with energy and style.

We know every event is unique, which is why each of our menus is customized to reflect your desires. As caterers, we are both creative and adaptable with an eye for detail. Our service is understated, professional, and attentive. We are equally at home at a casual backyard party, a business conference, or a wedding of any size.

Heidi Schlecht and Amy Padilla were born and raised in the Santa Cruz area. They have been enjoying food and friendship together since childhood. High school found them frequenting gourmet food shops during lunch break and vacations were spent exploring the culinary traditions of the world.

Growing up in the food business, Heidi has always been cooking and now lives with her family on their mountain vineyard where she tends her many fruit trees and large garden. She started FEEL GOOD FOODS in 1994 after a seven-year collaboration in an organic wholesale food business with Amy. Amy studied and taught at the UCSC Farm & Garden Program and then worked as a kitchen gardener where she kept finding herself in the kitchen. She went on to complete an apprenticeship at Chez Panisse and then joined FEEL GOOD FOODS in 1998.

•   We offer all levels of service from formal plated service, to buffet, to drop-off.
•   Menus are priced per person.
•   We can organize rentals for you. Menu prices do not include cost of rentals.
•   We can take care of all aspects for you, such as music, flowers, and dessert—or refer you to our favorite florists, musicians, and bakers.
•   A 25%, non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a date.
•   Sales tax and 18% gratuity are added to the final total.
•   Bulk pricing is available for conferences and multi-day retreats.
