About Feel Good Foods Catering

Heidi and Amy are longtime friends and business partners and are often mistaken for sisters. Both of them were born and raised in the central coast area among its beauty and abundance.

Inspired by their love for food, nature, travel, and all things beautiful, they enjoy spending their time making delicious food and gathering people together. Both have worked in food and restaurants all their working careers, and between them have tried on every hat in the trade. Either is comfortable and adept at working both front and back of the house, making for a flexible and competent team.

Heidi and Amy are the faces behind the female-owned catering company in Santa Cruz, Feel Good Foods.

Heidi is a caterer in the bay area with a focus on organic food.

Heidi learned the art of cooking from her family.

Her dad taught her how to pick a perfect peach, plant a garden, tend the orchard and do it all with patience and skill. Her mom instilled in her an appreciation of good food properly prepared and the joy in sharing it with others. Simple things done well, good clean and fair farming and entertaining with a sense of style and generosity are the ideas that inspire Heidi in all her kitchen endeavors.

Her integrity and commitment to local, organic, seasonal sourcing is well appreciated by everyone hoping to create a better food future. Her food is simple, elegant, delicious and a beautiful reflection of the best that our growing region has to offer.

Amy is a caterer in the Monterey bay, serving corporate and private events.

Amy handles the details and runs the show.

Her focus is meeting with clients, handling the venue, rentals, service, helping in the kitchen, and adapting graciously to all the surprises that might come up during an event. Her years of experience and detailed planning ensure that every event runs smoothly and effortlessly for our clients.

Time spent at the UCSC Farm and Garden program and interning at Chez Panisse have informed Amy's natural artistic sensibilities around food and service and created a style that is elegant and refined but never forced. Amy's ability to truly listen to her client's needs and desires makes realizing their dreams a reality. Her endless adaptability and flexibility makes working with her a pleasure.
